Executive search firm is looking for an Executive Director.

Reports to: President

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company’s operations, including a worldwide staff of 30+ personnel
• Ensure that operations run smoothly and in accordance with company policy
• Manage direct reports consisting of HODs in Recruitment (South Africa GM, Australia GM, Canada Recruitment Coordinator), Finance, Communications & Marketing, and IT
• Develop and manage budgets
• Develop recruitment KPIs and a performance management program
• Develop and implement internal HR and Administrative policies
• Lead effective process management in search, selection, relocation and recruitment
• Provide expert recruitment support, training, performance feedback and mentoring
• Champion business development while driving a high level of service with clients, both domestically and internationally
• Boost recruitment activities in North America, Latin America, and Asia
• Market immigration of talent to Canadian and Australian domestic-based operations
• Travel internationally to negotiate, win and manage recruitment contracts
• Play a key role in setting up a presence in corporate mining hubs such as Toronto, Toronto, Vancouver, and London

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in the search industry, with at least 5 years at the management level
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. MBA an asset.
• Demonstrated capability in leading or growing a recruitment company into new business ventures, specifically contract recruitment
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Superior decision-making skills
• Highly organized and performance driven
• First rate communications and relationship building skills
• An inspirational leader with a successful track record of building teams and expanding operations
• Exposure to the mining, engineering or constructions sectors preferred
• Excellent English communications skills (written and spoken), French is an asset
